Hey hows it going?
I went out last night and approached a few different girls and groups of girls but i just have two questions regarding the intial contact when i am just approaching a single girl.
Firstly should i be making eye contact the whole time in those first few minutes, or should i be turning my head and eyes and looking around the bar as well???
Secondly should i stand so that we are facing each other, or should i approach from the side, so that i am not front on, kind of at a 90 degree angle
Cheers

This used to be a big problem for me, then I studied non verbal communication and now Im much much better! =)

You don't want to start making eye contact when you walk towards the girl, instead you walk by like you're going somewhere, then you stop when you're 45 degrees to her (hard to explain, watch how mystery does it). Then you keep stand that way when you open, and IF the opener hook and you see them turning towards you (body language) you do so as well.

One more thing: When you pick a set you DON'T wanna look around for hot girls, that's a AFC trap! BEWARE! Instead you have to "scan" the place very quickly! Style talks about this in his "The Annihilation Method" DVD.

Generally when you open you want to:
1. SMILE :D
2. Stand up straight
3. Have an open body language (arms down, good gestures when u talk)
4. Look in her eyes, makes you look more confident
5. Kino, most important thing. If you don't do it or do it too late, your stuck in friend zone forever. Start with touching her forearm gently. And remember, you can get away with MUCH more when you don't look at what you're doing. Like putting your arm around a HB when you're both in a conversation with others and you're looking at her friends.

-Good luck!

I'd have to disagree on that one Hans, making eye contact can be done constantly. How you explain it is perfect for indirect cold approaches. But if you want to approach directly, as you'd usually want to do in night game, you'll want to maintain eye contact with your target, this shows confidence and sizes her out as your target.

Anyone can walk into a bar and pick up a random girl.
The trick is to make the experience unforgettable to her.
A real PUA will make every women he encounters feel like she experience something once in a lifetime.

Like any good speaker, you should keep eye contact with your audience. Make sure you spend most of your eye contact time with your target as it is an IOI, but make eye contact with her friends as well. Only break the eye contact if something happens near by that grabs your attention, like a fight or something that you need to be aware of.

If the group is 3 or less, face the group head on. If it is a bigger group face the group or the group of girls that you got the attention of.

Like always, it depends! For me, I can approach WITH eye contact if the girl starts looking at me first, then I have an open door. But if she haven't seen me yet, I do my usual approach, like the one I explained before.

In my experience, the two things that used to make my approaches fail was starting eye contact to early, facing them with my body at approach and opening, and also not using a time constraint!
