So i've been in a psuedo- LTR (7 months) with a great girl but currently going to be long-distance for a long time (at least 6 months)

makes no sense to remain celebate for 6 months or longer until we see each other again, so we have agreed to see other people.



That being said, I know that calling too often could become needy or annoying, and not calling at all for 6 months would put you out of sight, out of mind. As it stands right now i talk to her probably once a week or once every two weeks. and I NEVER ask if she's seeing anybody else.

I also have been on two dates since this started, and she has not asked me (i kind of wish she did; these girls were hot)... Having this girlfriend DHV'd me to some peer groups, and now that I'm single i'm finding it easier to hook up.

Back to the semi-oneitis, Right now I feel that it's best to just flirt, neg, and generally keep the attraction going and the relationship light (avoid worrying; relationship talk; future etc).... and be able to ATTRACT all over again when I am able to get face time.

In the meantime what should I be doing in order to keep the door open in the future?
