I was wondering if anyone can give me some recommendations on how to be more in control of my relationship in general. Thanks to the things I have learned in the community, I have bagged a wonderful girl. At first I wanted to just hook up with as many as I could, but I later realized that I wanted to have a girlfriend and found one.

That brings me to now. I am with the girl I want to be with. She is great, beautiful, smart, and funny. We had a bit of a rocky start, mainly b/c I was trying to get with as many girls as possible and wasnt really looking for anything serious, and she was kind of in the same position.

We are both very independent and I guess b/c of that, and the way it started, I find Im getting jealous and I think that is making me less Alpha and in control of the relationship. I know that doubting your girlfriend and being jealous and worried is the quickest way to lose a girl. Anyone have any recommendations on how to change my frame when it comes to this?

You don't necessarily have to be the alpha in the relationship but it helps. It's not as if you want to marry her later in life. If you really do want to become an alpha i suggest you use "hoop questions" which is when she asks you to do something and you rephrase it and send it back to her.
eg;
Her : Could you please go and get me a coke
You : A coke? well you are closer to the kitchen
