so i'm in pharmacy school second year and theres this girl that just got into first year, i've known her from junior high. i met her on friday at a big sister big brother bbq and invited her out to a pharmacy gathering at a bar that night. she said she's consider it. i told her i'd introduce her to some people in second year and if it got boring i'd take her to a frat party afterwards. so she texts at 9:30 (the gatheringwas from 9 - 11) saying that "sorry!i feel too wierd going by myself lol but have fun. maybe next time" so i text back "your missing out on an awesome time. ill introduce you and keep you company" no reply. so i call her. and then she makes a bunch of excuses like its too late she takes an hour to get ready, she has to be up at 7 am for a 9am saturday class (pharmacy toastmasters) and again that she doens't know anybody. it was obvioulsy bulshit cuz i aasked if she DID know somebody there would she go, she said ya. so finally i gave up, but then called her back 10 minutes later (she might have got annoyed but whatever, i only intend to make her a friend!) with the yes ladder, but didn't work, so i just gave up. any advice on blowing past LMR!? (it might have something to do with the fact that at the bbq i kind of introduced her to a few ppl then ditched herbut she said it didn't care about that)
