Requesting a bit of advice:

I've just got on to Facebook recently and I've come across a girl I used to have a crush on back in primary school. We never really talked much but I think she might remember me (maybe). Anyways I'd like to catch up with her.

I'm thinking of just adding her with a message like 'Jasmin!!! Was browsing and came across your profile! Remember me? How've you been?'

I dunno about adding the 'remember me' bit...

Any advice you could give me before I go in?

It is indeed better to leave the ''do you remember me'' part.
Could indicate too much that you want attention from her. (DLV)

You could send something like:

Hey Yas! why do you want the world showing your face huh?
You could add a wink if it could be too much of an insult to her.

HAHAHA NO WAY! That sucks hard , respect!!

Yeah leave out the "remember me" part.

Hey guys thanks for your advice -yeah I've decided not to go with the 'remember me?'. The 'what're you doin showin your face here ' might be alright but from what I remember of this chick I don't think it'll go down too well with her -so I don't want to chance it straight of the bat.

I was thinking maybe I should just add her without a message at first and then say something afterwards once shes added me.

Actually there's a few girls I'm going to add in the ame way so your advice is really appreciated on this.

Maybe ill try the 'what're you doin showin your face here ' on some of the others.

I'd just go with a simple ey, or Jasmin!, nothing more. think that she will remember you, why woudnt she? your a awesome guy right. if she replies with who is this kind of msg you can totally neg her.

I like that take a lot I haven't sent them any msgs yet cos I want to wait until after Friday cos I've got an exam -then I'm going to fix up my profile a bit first as well -But I'll let you guys know what happens as soon as something happens.
