Im a senior in highschool we just started last week and im getting to know people all the new people and some that i havent seen in awhile.

a big thing that comes up when im talking/gaming girls is that i play football, every friday gamedays we wear our jerseys to school, which is a good DHV except i dont start im 2nd string cornerback. last friday the girls were asking me if i start i just say "no" and always feel liike its a big DLV that i dont start and kinda kills my inner game a lil lol.
can anybody help me come up with a good response or way i can turn it away from being a DLV

maybe try a little cocky funny and say something like:

"well ...i'm kinda the teams secret weapon but dont tell anyone"
"im too good looking to be a starter , i only play when they really need me"

there are many different ways you can say it.. whatever works for you
