Recently ive done some traveling and some other pretty cool stuff that would be great for DHV. How do I slip in some of these stories w/o sounding like im showing off or trying to hard to impress?



Secondly, how do you handle inadvertant/unavoidable DLVs?

Example- I was playing flip cup with a bunch of people and was going against a HB 9 and she kept beating me. How should i have played that off? I kept pushing her a little and moving her cup away and saying that I need every advantage I can get b/c she is to good at the game. Stupid little things like that, but but I feel like telling her how good she was at flip cup was DLVing me.

Easy, just tell them like you would tell them to an old friend... from the perspective of what you felt there and what it meant to you on a deep level... not as a fact only and as a thing to show off about... go deeper than the surface and she'll love it, no matter what you say and if it's a high value thing even better.

I can make ordinary things sound great!
Stop worrying about DLVing in some stupid game...
your value comes from inside... not from the outside...

give yourself the value, don't let yourself be affected by other people's opinions and/or game results haha
