i thought of this line and wanted to get your input about it
here's the setting

after getting some kino and flirting with the waitress, you get the check,pay it + an average tip, then bring her the check and say "you know,i dont believe in bribing girls into liking me. but i would like to get to know you over a cup of coffee some time"
or something like that,
haven't tried it, but i think she will be blown away by the honesty of it

what do you guys say?

I dont mean to be tearing you down, but I dont see that aproach as being effective.If I were you I would find out EXACTLY how much a cup of coffee is at the nearest coffee shop. Leave EXACTLY that much in cash as a tip even if you should be paying tripple that, then say " A cup of coffee at the coffee shop down the road is (what ever you left) , ill be their at 5" then get up and cooly leave in a way that signifys their isnt anything to be said. Theirs a good chance that the time won't work, BUT if shes intrested, she either make it happen or ask to reschedule. (note: Im no expert, and am open to critisisms, this is simply the aproach i would take)

Tack I have to disagree waitress basicaly live off of tips I think that would be insulting, Davejoy it might work but be sure to have good routine set in advance so everytime she comes to the table (order coffe she come to the table more to fill the cup) so shes more comfortable. Don't be the creepy guy that hits on waitress though.

Yeah waitresses live off tips so this will prob insult her. Besides if she doesnt get off at the time you say then it just doesnt work. I think you can do some tweaking....like write something on the bill--like ehere to meet and a time. And don't forget to give a good tip

but i dont think your suggestion will work, because in israel the waitress dynamic works in a way so ,when you get the tab on a small plate or something then you put the money+tip there and just leave and she picks it up afterwards.
what i didnt like about your idea is that it feels to me that i'm bribing her in a way.

ive got a friend right, he leaves the most over the top tips like 30% and hes like the biggest afc there is, so i tried to polarize what he's doing and thats how i came up with this idea...
just a bit of background

i was at a beach pub in tel aviv this friday, and im new to the whole pick up material,
so this waitress comes up to our table, and asks what would we like, she was standing over me so i looked at her over the shoulder and got some great eye contact, whilst maintaining eye contact i saw her pulling down her shirt a bit,which seemed weird
talked a bit about just small talk and somehow when she got back with our order she said it sucked working on her birthday
and im like, you gotta be shitting me, its my birthday too, and she gave me this look like she thought i was bullshitting her and hitting on her, and then i took our my drivers license and showed her i was not,turns out it was past twelve and my birthday was yesterday[she was born a day after me,SAME YEAR, what are the odds???] anyway
so my friend picked up on that and says, does the zodiac sign change tonight or tomorrow?
and i had a spark of brilliance and say, thats right, you are a virgin.....pause [thinking to myself, dude you did not just say that to her] and say well dont know if you are a virgin but that is your sign.
in the most calm voice possible...
the girl turned red and almost shat her pants laughing:)

and after all that i couldnt think of a way of closing, kicking my self till now..

I didnt realize where you are from so that changes it some....but I wouldn't give her a below average tip so that you dont look like an afc...there is a difference between being an afc and being rude. I think this can work...im just not sure of the dining etiquitte in your country.
