When is the appropriate time to text a girl and when is the appropriate time to call a girl?

It seems like calling a girl and speaking to her displays more confidence and allows you to express your tone better, but sometimes a text is just easier for various reasons. What are your guys' rules when it comes to this sort of thing?

Also, I havent field tested it yet, but I bet the above question (When is the appropriate time to text a girl...blah blah...) could make a good opinion opener as well.

A text can be better, I hardly ever call but thats because local trend is texting is whats done.
When do I do, whenever the *&^% i feel like it :wink: If she texts me and i am doing somthing, i wont answer. If she texts me and i have my phone out, i'll respond then. Dont over analyse, if you just got her number leave it a day or 2.
Be yourself, do things when YOU want to. (within reason ofc, if the house is burning down but u are not in the mood to go out i suggest you still do :lol: )

If you have like a single thing to say to her that you can't turn into a conversation, then wait until you have more things to say and then call. I think that texting on the night to say bye is ok, and then leave the call for 2 or 3 days.

But I haven't done much phone game, this is just the feeling I get.
