Here is an expirement i set up for practise and analysis.

I video taped myself doing an imaginary opener in my room using the Jealous Girlfriend routine. I wanted to see how my body language looked, my conversation fluency was and it was for practise in general to memorize lines and become more familiar with diff material.

I done this several times. Although i thot i had good body language my back wasent as straight and tall as i would have liked. I also noticed my hands were quite animated whilst i was talking, i think D.Denagelo says you are best to keep them by ur side most of the time and myabe use them to elaborate on some things.

Ok after a few trial runs i kinda ironed out some of my flaws. Then for the next phase i printed out a life size facial picture of an HB10 and taped it to a mic stand to practise with for eye contact etc.

The results..

well upon watching the video footage of doing the routine with the hot picture i noticed that my words werent as fluent, my eye contact even wandered although it was just a picture, and i even noticed myself kinda nervously touching my nose and face whilst doing the routine.

So i think this was a good experiment to show that there is probably flaws in our approaches that are subconcious that we dont even notice unless we are being filmed and have the tape to look back upon. Everyone has a camera phone these days so try it out and post ur results here.

Start off just talking to just the wall (seems wierd i know, but practise makes..) then print out an A4 sheet with a HB10 face on it (i used cheryl tweedy) and see if your resluts differ. Then keep practising till you have it locked down. Im sure this well help AA with HB9s and 10s.
