i got out of a 4 year relationship a little over a month ago, read about the jealous girlfriend opener and thought of maybe changing it a bit to suit my situation because my ex and i are pretty good friends now...

so here's more or less what i had in mind..

me: hey guys, my friends and i were debating something but we're a bunch of guys and actually need a female opinion, would you help us out quick?
girls: sure blah blah
me: ok, i've only got a sec but do you guys think that two people who just got out of a serious relationship can just be friends and hang out as if they've never dated?
girls: blah blah just friends (cut them off)
me: yes, just friends. the breakup was a mutual decision because they dont love each other anymore
girls: yeah ok, that could work blah blah (cut them off again..)
me: ok, this was actually a 2 part question, but would you date someone who's good friends with his ex and they still hang out often and who kept a few of her photos and gifts?
(girls talk, i work in a few negs and some c&f and then move into next routine)


do you guys think this could work or should i perhaps just stick with the traditional jealous girlfriend if i feel like opening with a routine?
