I've been trying to decide if sunglasses are a good idea for day game (like out in a park, shopping, just hanging out) or not.

On the one hand they hide your gaze. So you can look intimidating in them. But also more alpha, if in a combative way. On the flip side they can make you look like you have a really steady gaze.

I guess it's a question of whether or not any more alpha you get is worth the intimidating bit of them. At first I assume they were worth it, but now I'm not sure.

Are some sorts of sunglasses better than others then? Perhaps a brown lense or something smokey rather than black or mirror?

I learnt this in a sales seminar when I had a second job as a mortgage broker. Glasses, ties and suits create barriers an open neckline and a relaxed body shows trust and confidence. I wouldnt hide behind glasses be the man you want to be and be confident while doing it. There is never a place for sunnies if you are trying to build trust it just isnt congruent.

I wear a sports jacket and tie for work and girls of all ages have no problem trusting me when they ask me something, express their anger to me, or want something. I also walk with confidence as well.
I disagree. If you live in a place that is sunny, like Southern California wearing sun glasses are almost required so you can protect your eyes. I will say that if you do wear sunglasses, make sure the tint on the lenses is light enough so girls can see your eyes. Mine have a dark black redish tint to them and when the sun light hits them you can see thru them enough to see my eyes.

I live nr the Gold Coast in Australia and I wear sunnies daily but not when gaming. I also wrote more than a millions dollars a month in mortgages without a tie and jacket and put them on 30 year contracts. You need to build some serious trust when dealing with peoples money especially the biggest thing they will buy in their life. Ties and suits are good in the corporate environment but not good for comfort building or trust building exercises. The whole suit thing is preparation for negotiation and power play. Gaming is about trust/rapport comfort/attraction and then seduction. I am not sure a girl would trust a guy they couldnt see but the act of moving your glasses up when you talk to her would send the signal that you have her attention and you are comforatble and allowing her to trust you so that could be a good move to try in the field. I normally take mine off and hold them in my hands. Hand the sunnies to her pull out your mobile phone ask for her name, put it in your phone then ask for your sunnies back while you hand her your phone so she can put her number in. Put the sunnies on her and tell her she they dont suit her bit like kino. Good sunnies would be Oakleys, Rudy Project, Prada, Arnett big is the go at the moment with designer stuff so check out D&g dolce & gabbana etc.

Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with the whole not wearing sun glasses while sarging. It almost feels like you're hiding behind them. I wouldn't want to talk to a total stranger when I couldn't see them totally.

I guess its a cultural thing, as I see guys with sunglasses talking up girls all the time in the beach cities during the day. Which works in my favor seeing that I wear glasses and my sunglasses are custom made.
