Ok I have no game at all whatsoever. I recently read The Game and decided that I want to be a PUA. There's this kinda cute girl working at the blockbuster. one day I decided what the hell and i went over to her and asked her the jealous girlfriend opener "Hey can I get a female opinion on something? If you were dating a guy who was close friends with his ex blah blah blah blah.." That got her to open up she starting telling me what she thought about it. I'm trying to use Style's method so I felt like giving her a neg but I couldn't think of anything so I just left. Now whenever I see her in the store she smiles at me and this might be an IOI or maybe she just smiles at everyone I don't know. I would like to hook up with this girl. The Game says to use opinion openers instead of the regular "hi how're you doing" but the only opener I know that doesn't sound weird or totally random is the jealous girlfriend opener and I already used that one, the other ones I know are "do you believe in spells" and "I'm trying to name my dog after a 90's music duo" I don't really feel comfortable using those. I'm average looking and I'm pretty confident when I speak, I don't talk fast or anything and I don't slouch. But I have very little experience with the opposite sex so please help me I really want to hook up with this chick. I have no idea what to say to her next. Normally I'd ask her how she's doing etc but The Game says not to use that since she's probably used to hearing that plus that's all i've been doing my whole life and I've never been that successful with girls. So help me out here.

You're past needing an opener like that, she obviously recognizes you every time and remembers talking to you that other time, so now you have a "warm approach". Just say, "Hey, how's it going?" and then after you get past the pleasantries, you move onto talking about whatever is on your mind.

Honestly, if you want to run canned material, stop taking stuff from The Game, cause IT IS NOT A MANUAL! It is a story, that contains some material and good info, but it is not a manual on how to be a PUA, so you need to actaully read stuff that teaches you that. You don't have to do the same stuff that is talked about in The Game either, there are tons of different methods out there these days with all the guys that have gotten into it and produced their own stuff. There's plenty of guys on this forum alone that have their own methods that they teach other guys, you can ask anyone that has a "mentor badge" for help and they should be able to give it to you just fine, but also guys without badges that you think have knowledge you want. There's also tons of different big name PUAs that have their stuff all over the net and it can be bought or downloaded if you look for it.

As I said, if you want to run canned material, there is a lot of stuff out there, this forum has sections with tons of threads full of unique and published material you can use. If you're interested in just learning how to talk to a girl without material, there's a lot of guys that teach that too. Vin DeCarlo is a big name guy, so is Gambler, Juggler and a few others, as well as a lot of small name guys like Chief and Myself that both moderate this forum.

I have kind of a similar scenario going on:

I went to the local blockbuster with one of my friends tonight. The girl working there was decent looking and i wanted to practice my sarging skills with her - a girl I am not intimidated by.

My friend was renting the movies and some kind of discrepancy came up with his account. I wasn't really interacting with her and I had no idea what to say in such a situation.

She had a blue earing and i thought about negging her "hey, you gotta blue thing on your ear". But i couldn't think of anything to follow up with after that. So i didn't say anything.

I've done the jealous girlfriend opener and it works pretty well, but i wanted to come up with some original stuff. What would some of you have said?

I want to get a better conceptual understanding of the nature of pickup so when the blockbuster girl is an HB9 or 10 I can walk out with her number.

take a pause... smile charismatically... with intent in your eyes... not being afraid to show your attraction...

and then see the reaction...

if she's not interested you're going to feel it straight away and stop losing time... if she's interested she'll either be flattered, smile, blush

just make sure it's honest and from a confident position
