HB 9 commented a photo of mine that referenced to an internet community we both happened to be on. The comment conversation went like this.

HB: wait whaaat. you're an ONTDer too??!
ME: get off my community, we don't like your kind!
HB: pshh yeah right, i've probably been a member longer than you have.
ME: you know, i'm now going to secede from that argument just for the sake of making you look nerdier than me. that's right. so i STILL win
HB: well then i'll just end this right here because this is ridiculous.
ME: don't hate the player, hate the game!

after this she stopped replying. how could i have gone about this better?

You could have offended her. You can't tell how someone intends to say something online. I didn't see any faces or "lols" that implied that you were joking. I'm thinking she just got really offended and that it wasn't a shit test.
