Well it was overall a good night i was chilling with my friends and we were all messing around when i let slip to my friends that i thought this one waiter was cute but i knew i wasn't going to game her because i have been feeling sick and run down i think I'm coming down with a cold... anyway.. my friends as many of you have yourselves are jerks one says to the waitress the usual "My friend wants your phone number". i thought it looked supremely immature i didn't want to seem shy so i made a quick joke at him to get him to shutup and asked her what school she went to. When she left and came back to settle my other friends check he asked for a carry out bag and then preceded to tell her that i wanted her phone number .. again i brushed it off and smiled at her and made fun of him. Well she sorta brushed it off both times i thought so when we were leaving she walks up to me and gives me her number and name written on it .

i was shocked so i think i looked kind of stupid looking at the paper surprised i didn't even know she was handing it to me at first lol

so what i want to know is where do i go from here? i know that sounds lame


how long do i wait to call this girl? and how do i do it in a fashion that isn't sort of creepy?


my friends all had different opinions and i thought i'd bring this to you guys

Just give her a call and ask if she has any friends that would like to babysit a friend of yours? I would suggest don't go out of your way to explain how you would/could have spoke to her yourself, but didn't because xyz - not important anymore and you don't need to explain yourself.

In nightgame I usually call one full day later, so for Sat night game, I call her on Monday.

But in this case, just go for it. Most important thing as mentioned above is that you don't explain yourself for not asking for her number yourself.

Make your intentions clear that you want to take her out. Set up a coffee date for Wednesday night. And do not, DO NOT mention anything about the number exchange or your friends bringing it up. If she brings it up just confidently act like you expected it.

Thats perfect! Give her a call, tell her that your busy playing sports and just wanted to give her a shout real quick and that she should meet you @ Starbucks on Wednesday @ 7:00. (or where ever) If she is busy that night she will tell you when she is free. You tell her when and where to meet. Be the alpha.

When you mention you play sports do it in passing. Don't brag about it. It shows you are athletic and have a busy schedule but you are trying to fit her in. The initial call shouldn't be more than 5 minutes or so.. cause you are a busy guy with important things to do.
