How do you be interesting, if you don't really have anything to talk about? I read Mystery's book. In it, he's says, in order for a girl to be interested in you, you have to be interesting, by telling stories. Tell interesting stories. But what if you are an introverted person, and you didn't have that luxury of going camping when you were younger, you didn't have many friends, you weren't around friends a lot.

He say's in his book, for example, tell about the time you went into a forest, and you got scared shitless, and blah blah blah. I didn't do any of these things. I never went hiking, never went camping with friends.

I lead a pretty simple life. I go to work, I go home, and that's it. How do I be interesting? I can't make up stuff.

Make a life for yourself. Stop making excuses about not being intersting and BECOME interesting. You think every PUA around here has always had the skill, or the cool stories? NO, but we went out, we did things, we talked about ideas in our heads, concepts that were interesting and were able to reply to things other people said, then over time we developed interesting stories.

Hell, you don't even need to go camping, or sky diving to have interesting stories. For a day or two, I was telling a story about a situation that had occurred when I was 36 cent short for the bus and the bus driver threatened to kick me off because I had mistook 4 pennies for dimes and he thought I was trying to rip him off, even though I had put in 2.14! Then after I went to the store (where I was taking the bus to) I got some passes and I was going to use one on the way back, but it was the same bus driver and he refused to let me give him the pass. I used it in various ways, to tell how some people are jerks, how some people realise they were jerks and show their good side, or just as fluff. Not very interesting, but by describing it in detail and making them feel like they were there and they were the ones being screwed around and then appologized to, it was quite effective.

I get all sorts of stories just from work, going to work, going shopping (want me to tell you about the lack of the frozen broccoli that I prefer for the past 2 weeks, cause I can!), talking to people over msn reading stuff on here and discussing it with people, what I've been reading lately, something cool I saw on tv, the diet I've put myself on and how I'm finally going to lose the weight I've been half-assedly trying to lose for the past 5 years, etc, etc, et-fucking-cetra.

If that doesn't give you some ideas, then I suggest you go pick up a copy of Awaken the Giant Within by Anthony Robins and you work on making some changes in your life and how you go about things...hell do it anyways, it should be on the required reading list for PUAs everywhere.

I agree with Rye, but if you can't think of anything interesting in your life, you can lie. "it's not lying, it's flirting." just make up a story and rehearse it well enough so that it's natural and believable. you can also thread that story into another story and then thread that story into another story.

I thought of that as well when I stated out.

Being intresting is not about what you have done and not done, it's about attitude. Who says it's cool to talk about camping, and not about bus fares?

Also, this is partially true. You need to do interesting things in order to have stuff to talk about. You need to love adventure, and do things. However, simply going into the city shopping might be enough material for several stories. And, if not, MAKE THEM UP!

"I saw this old lady, perhaps 80+, in HMV the other day when I was shopping X for myself. I mean, what the fuck does a person like that listen to? Dinosaur-ious music?"

Whatever. It's a good topic to talk about, as it could lead into discussions about music, elder ppl, shopping, hmv.

Try to lookup a random article (ctrl-X) on wikipedia. Now, use your cellphone to clock yourself, as you are going to talk for one minute straight about this thing. IT's a silly way to train you, not to be interesting, but to be able to talk.
