First and foremost I just wanna say that I love this forum. I had a issue about a week ago that was answered and helped me out ALOT. Unfortunatly, I got another "issue" so to speak.

Heres the story...so this girl at work I've been gaming is really into me and we hung out, made out a little bit, she wants to hang out more yada yada yada everythings goin great. Heres the problem...

When I first met her at the beginning of the summer, one of my loud mouth friends decided to let it slip that I am a virgin (I'm only 19, don't judge me!) It hasn't really come up, as when she asked I just said it was a choice because the right girl hasn't come around yet (not a lie, I've turned down sex from some fugs).

So, today one of my buddies was talkin to her about me and her and some how the topic of us having sex came up. Apparently she said "I'm not gonna take his virginity"



So heres my question...is this even an issue? Am I reading to much into this? Is there anything I can do to make it so shes not as hesitant to "take my virginity?"

(BTW, this is off-topic but I don't even think of guys having "a virginity" guys can be virgins but there isn't really a "virginity" to take...maybe thats just my opinion)

It's an issue because you made it one by telling her you were waiting for the right person. Now she's defensive because she doesn't think she's worth that. Her main worry is probably that you'll become a clingy puppy if she has sex with you.

rartoul is right, however. Girls say a lot of things and when the heat is turned up they won't stick to them. Get her to seduction stage and brush it off if it comes up - ignore it in fact, or some general comment "You worry too much". It will likely be used as LMR but if you've escalated to that stage then you should be able to overcome with some patience. Step backwards and repeat.
