Hey guys,
I did some sarging last saturday, and I opened to a girl (HB who was standing by herself (Is that a bad idea already?) and I used the 'Do I look gay' opener.
Here's how it went:

Me: Hey there, I got a quick question for you, do I look gay? Because this guy in pink shorts and make-up started checking me out on the train the other day!
HB: Yeah you could be gay...
Me: (flabbergasted at first ) Oow, so you also think all the handsome men are gay? You stereotype!

After that she laughed a little but no spark or hookpoint was made so I said 'I gotta go back to my buddies, have a good night' and I bailed out.
I saw her looking at me while I was opening sets the entire night but I never returned to her because I had a good time in other sets. I never opened that much, about 10 sets (most of them 3/4 sets) or something, really cool to talk to everyone in the club

Could I have done this in a better way or was this girl for some other reason not interested ?
I hope to hear it soon!

Hey man, good job approaching and running those sets.

You'll find that if you just persist and keep running game in these situations, the set/girl will eventually hook. I think you just ejected too soon. Believe it or not, sometimes it's more about quantity than quality.

Wait... you were in a CLUB and you approached a lone HB?

Girls who go to bars and clubs alone go to get laid. You should have stuck to her like glue.

I don't know if she was actually alone right there, I saw her standing close to another girl who was busy talking to AFC's. So I guess that was her friend
But when I approached her she was standing alone...

her laughing is no iod but if you didnt feel comfertable its a good way to eject! However next time you could easily start a routine or ask her why she is alone. In single sets you can pull of the direct way if you are comfertable with doing it. If she was the first set of the night just see it as warmup and you did a good job.
