just starting to get into the game, and i believe i have used some negging in the past, without knowing it was part of the overall game, and some routines, however with not a great level of success.

im average looking, but was thinking how much does looks play its part, i mean with some of these routines you can run, however if the girl simply isnt physically attracted to you, you dont stand i chance..

i hope the forum can prove me wrong, and as i gather more routines and openers, maybe it wont have such effect.

p.s maybe its an inner game issue, and if i feel confident and add value to myself, then i wouldnt feel this insecurity and lack of faith in the game.

To be a pua u dont need looks, trust me!! Look at neil strauss or mystery ahah. What looks do for u is give u foolsmates ,girls that just want u cus ur hot and it doesnt matter wat u say. Well actually looks do matter a little bit, like if ur face looks like a painting from picasso than.... fuuuck... i dunno what to say haha, but if ur decent looking and u just keep in shape keep clean and smell good thats pretty much all u need in the looks department, everything else is mental.

Looks can better your chances if you have a good personality to go with it.

looks mean absolutely nothing. as long as you have a good wardrobe, the right mindset and a pair of balls you can go anywhere.. with anyone.

you take neil strauss for instance; he was an uber nerd with no chance in hell of getting a girl let alone keeping her like he did do in the end with lisa. what he did was shave his balding head, get lasik and adopt some style, mainly wearing something smart over something casual and growing that rather funky goatee to give himself some definition. all he did was learn to put his best foot forwad - at the end of the day the girls were choosing him for him. and that inself is a crazy concept.

in my personal opinion all you have to do is make sure you are clean, wearing something that attributes your personal style and come across in a confident and unique manner. some way that says listen to me - i am different - you need my in your world. after you have done that you will find inumerable treasures.

after being very hideous during pubescency i began to become quite good looking. nothing special but enough to garner some attention and a few fleeting looks in the street. this has done absolutely nothing for me, i find that its once i open my mouth and put my personality across that girls come a flocking. okay so not flocking but you get the picture.

another thing i would say is that you do not need to build a wealth of openers or gimmicks - just learn a way that works for you to start interactions and build rapport. learn to put your best foot forwad and you will find that girls will begin to fall for you! stop beating yourself up. looks are what were either born with or buy - at the end of the day if you end up not caring about this neither will anyone else.

smiles: Don't worry too much about the whole looks thing. In the end it's all about the attitude (and hygiene). Yes you're right, some chicks will repel you just for the way you look, and we men are doing just the same. It doesn't matter. You can not take all of the responsibility for a chick's way of thinking.

And you know what: take some time to figure out what kind of style you like and actually IS your style. Make it a sub-mission within this whole PUA thing to find your style.
