Okay so here's what went down:

I met this girl at a club about a month ago, and we ended up clicking on all levels. We made out several times and she was definitely into me, we exchanged numbers and made vague plans for hanging in the future. I ended up meeting up with her at the mall a week later and we browsed around, everything went awesome and I started thinking she could be a potential girlfriend. But we haven't really hung out since then because I was on vacation for a week and we both have work, so I'm starting to worry that it's been so long that I've lost the initial attraction we had. Every time I try to make plans she always seems to have work and this saturday she said she'd call after she got off and meet up with me at this party, but never called. Last week we also briefly talked about hanging out monday night (thats apparently the only night she has off) but we haven't really talked about it since then.

I could be over thinking things, which is why I need your opinions: Is she distancing herself and avoiding me, or is it just me overanalyzing things?

Either way I don't really care if she isn't into me because I have plenty of options and it would be her loss (I am pretty amazing), I'm just wondering if I read the situation correctly or not. In the future it would be good to know if stuff like this is nothing to worry about.

You should have been passed the initial attraction by the time you met up at the mall!

Maybe she just works a lot - it does happen. Stop trying to make plans with her and you'll find out how she feels if she gets back to you... Which she will.

Girls you meet in clubs are relationships that can easily break down in the early stages. From that story the only thing I would suggest is that you didn't build enough comfort/rapport in your correspondence AFTER the club. It's remarkably easy for her to remember you as the guy she made out with in a club (while drunk?) and that doesn't always coincide with her sober life.

i would have to agree with thi idea; i ran into a situation in high school where this chick was into me and i tried to make plans with her as much as possible since i was into her too. Well long story short i think i tried too hard and lost contact i actually heard fom her last week (i am now a junior in college) and i played it off as cool and told her to make the plans with me this time and it worked she texts me all the time, facebooks me; the thing is not to lest yourself into the quick response and let her wonder a bit. If you talk to this girl on instant messager or through text dont resond to her messages right away, you dont want it to seem like you are waitig for hr reply. Hope it helps
