I need advice from analytical minds.
The Story:
I met this girl abroad, on a business / casual trip. We work for the same organization, but in different regions, so we never met before. I’m 26, and so she is.
During this trip, a pretty amazing connection happened between the two of us. At the time, we both had someone in our life. I’ve been with the same GF for about 5 yrs, and she is with her BF for the last 3 yrs, and counting. The just moved to a brand new house, wich complicate my game quite a bit because now I have to deal with real life problems …
During the whole trip, we were always together, hugging and really behaving as a couple. One night, after a pretty amazing night in clubs, I got to kiss-close her in her room, while her roommate was picking something up at the front desk, and it was pure passion... Those were, at the time, the best 5 minutes of my life !!!
The next day, in another hotel, I managed to “Isolate” her (well, her roommate was sleeping in a nearby bed… Not bullet proof isolation for an f-close …) And we kissed again, then spooned for the remaining of the night. Those were the best 2 hours of my damn life !!! The day after, we took our plane home, and parted ways, not before a big passionate hug, (her eyes were wet).
The problem we had was not to be noticed because we work for the same business, and we were both known not to be single.
I fell in love with her. So deeply, I felt like I should end my relationship with my GF, and I did it, knowing I had nothing ahead of me. Remorse is better then regrets …
I can tell she had the same feeling regarding me, because we kept in touch for the following weeks, by phone and mails. She wrote to me pure stuff like “I deeply miss you”, “I can’t wait to see you again” and “Man, you threw me off balance … My head is pretty damn fucked-up right now”
Weeks went by, and then I decided to organize a Get together with some friends we made during the trip. This happens saturday. It’s basically a day enjoying the sun in a pool, a BBQ, and a night out in a club, then she will leave to come back to her BF waiting at a friend’s house.
I can tell she is starting to raise a protective shield on me cuz she does not write to me as much, and the word she choose changed to something way more moderate, but I can say she still is really looking forward to see me again, even if her BF is starting to suspect something and is putting pressure on her shoulder.
What I’ve got : 2 hours alone with her in the morning, PM in a pool with friends + BBQ, max 2 hours of clubbing, little to no alcohol involved.
I really need an analysis of all this, and pretty much advice on how to behave, because in 2 days, it’s a make or break day, and I really don’t want to break it.
