Is there a thin line between DHV'ing and getting a slap in the face/rejected? I was texting this girl and pulled the who lies more boys or girls opener, and after she replied I said well if I said you were cute were I be lying? and she said no because its true. and then i said well i guess im lying. Is that DHV ?

but I wouldn't say you don't find her cute. It possible she could be offended.

Instead perhaps try: "A lot girls are cute these days, what are your other attractive qualities?"
