Guys,

I feel i am fairly tolerant when it comes to guys making fun but sometimes it can get way too much and i wonder when they are going to stop.

I do have a bounce in my walk and these three guys at work always make fun of that. They send mails to me every other day saying "here comes mr bounce"

One of the guys has a really large nose so i told he has a caravan stuck on his face he responds back "Oh kev no need to get all defensive and upset"

How do you handle stuff like this ?. How would you handle it when guys get too sarcastic ?

They make fun of you because they see you as a threat, sometimes they are just joking around though.

Ignore them.

Agreed. Show signs of weakness (reacting to their mocking), and they'll just continue. It's like first grade all over again - don't give a shit, and they'll get bored and wander off.

If they see you getting affected, they will conitnue to joke since its working, if they see their jokes are having no effect on you....they'll get bored and move on

These things just last as long as they are fun. Dont give them that. This is just Kindergarden all over again.
Most people find it easier to be alpha if they have other people to pick on. To be a real alpha you just need to be comfortable in any social situation. To try to get back at them with an insult is to lower your position.

Basically... get guick witted.

Everytime they say something or call you Mr. Bounce respond with "I think any guy would walk with a bounce in his step after boning your mom."

Or

"While I walk with more bounce than you all, I bet my bed bounces more than yours"

etc. Normally, if there is three of then all you have to do is get two of them to laugh (the ones that didn't make the comment) then the person who made the comment will probably feel like they are laughing at him.

If you don't want to retailiate, next time they call you mister Bounce just go along with the flow and EXAGGERATE your bounce. That will make them LAUGH WITH YOU (not at you) and you might be able to make friends with them.
