What are some good openers for walking around the mall by yourself? I was going to try the "do you think this shirt looks gay" opener. Can you think of any other good openers?

I generally use any opinion openers at malls.

Well, I fucked up. I approached a hb7 asing her how the coffee was at a coffe shop. She said I would like it. Then I asked her if she worked in the mall and she did. Next, I asked her what school she went to and found out that she was a year older than me. We both stopped talking for a couple minutes and then I got my coffee and left. I'm such an AFC I didn't even say 'bye' because it got awkward after couple minutes of silence. How can I improve next time?

In my opinion you should of followed up with a trick or something to amaze her and get her attention. Remember to look for IOIs in the routine.
