Has anyone here ever found that when younger they had little or no AA, but then all of a sudden you do?

As little as a year or so ago I had no problem walking upto a girl and sparking up a conversation. Not so much in the bar, but in public. I've really only noticed since I've been introduced to the community, but I'm sure it was before, but I just can't do it at times now.

I used to be the guy who'd be hanging out with friends, a chick or a couple chicks would go by, and they'd all look at me and be like "Paco go" and I'd go talk to the chick, sometimes bring them back, sometimes get a number, sometimes get shot down, but it didn't seam to phase me. It was at the point where none of my buddies would introduce me to girls that they knew anymore and when bringing girls to parties and such would say "Watch out for Paco, he'll try to pick you up."

Now if its someone I'm introduced to from a friend it is no problem for me to talk to, but if its some random in the park or mall I freeze and get AA. I'm working on my AA, but it is still there. I try to use 3second rule and tell myself "I'm golden, I'm the one who needs to be impressed, I'm the prise" that kinda thing.

Thanks,

Paco
