| Well, this turned out to be an unsuccessful test on the field. It was unintentional, but it happened, and blew up in my face.

It started two days ago when I managed to #close a HB8 at a ball game. I called her today, and told her I'd be at the movies tonight (MJR 20, at 10:30, to see Wall-E) and she's welcome to attend. She agree'd. The date was on.
I know the movies isn't a good choice right off the bat, but we had build up enough comfort through kino when we met in order for me to make further progress in the theater.
I got there about 10:30 to get a feel of the place. I've been there many times before, but never since I've started reading the game, or been on the forums. And by damn, there are a LOT of HBs at the movies. And better yet, they come in flocks, and very often. It was a great situation to be in.
Well I get a call from her saying she'll be there, but not until 10:25. I had some time. Well, I bought the tickets (Is this a good Idea? Only cost me 15. I didnt know if buying for the lady was considered PUAlittlically correct) and I see a HB9 eyeing me from a group. I was displaying some body signs of confidence I learned from the forums too (looking up, not fidgeting, thumbs in back pocket to keep them not crossed, and stuff like that).
Well, since I had time, I walked over and said to one of her uglier friends and asked "There's plenty of good movies available tonight, but which do you recommend?" And before she could say anything -- because the HB was about to butt in I said "But not the ones you guys are seeing, I wont hear a word of it with her talking". She laughed, they all laughed. I was in. Well a little more smalltalk and the HB showing me some IOI occurred and I excused myself because I told them I was waiting for someone and went back to the door. I didn't number close because I didnt wanna risk getting found out throughout the course of night.
The HB8 (my date) arrived at about 10:34 and I said to her "It's good you showed up now, because in 5 more minutes your ticket was going to the cute blonde over there (The HB9) and I pointed. None of them were looking so I didn't risk being called out. She laughed, we proceeded into the theater.
Here comes the clash. As I approach to where the HB9 is sitting (there is no other route to the theater) she calls out "Hey, Hey! Call me sometimes, or the next time she doesn't show up" and hands me a piece of paper.
And with that line I heard the bomb fall, the building explode, the cow tip, everything. But I tried to keep my cool.
The HB8 pretttttttty much just took off in the other direction and I wasn't going to chase her down. She's not a prize worth chasing. I looked at the piece of paper the HB9 gave me and it "You have the moves right, now work on your looks, ugly" and by the time I looked over to them, they were on their way out. Didn't knock my ego though. I'm no Don Juan, but I'm not ugly, and I know that.
Ah well. I'll deal. I called up a girl from work who lives close to the theater and had he come enjoy the movie with me. Nothing happened, but I didn't lose 15$, haha.
So, all in all, I learned a few things about planning out geography and roadmaping my steps to keep HB away from HB. My game isn't bruised, and I'm not down about it.
IN conclusion - Do you guys try to game even when shit could go wrong?
And, give me any suggestions you have. Obviously, I'm still new.
