I met this girl in a psych class... she was sending me a lot of IOIs but I wasnt really interested in her so I didnt really talk to her that much. Shes about a 9 so when summer came around I thought I should try to hook up with her. I went to get some food with her and we were talking and it was kind of dry, but whatever. I thought it went alright because she said we should hang out again but I dont know what to do now... how do I contact her again without sounding like a puss?

Psych class? Be very careful! I'm sure you know this already, being in the class yourself, but Psychology students like to put to practice what they learn.

I have a friend who has a Psychology degree and I'm always wary about what I say around him - always analysing everything!! Bloody Freudian!!

It went dry... Do you mean there wasn't much conversation between you? If that's the case, sounds like she could be analysing you possibly.... Obviously, don't take that as read, but just be weary that you may be the subject of a class project....

Firstly, don't contact her straight away - makes you look waaaay to eager and submissive.

Leave it for between three days to a week I would say. If you are now on summer break, there isn't much chance of bumping into her in class so that works out.

When you eventually contact her again, make sure you keep the conversation fairly open ended (ie don't go overboard like "I really missed you for the week", etc.) Make sure you have other plans if making a date with her - remember, she made the IOI's so she's the one who's in to you. Play it cool until you get to know her a bit better (also, finf out if she's playing you - remember, Psych student!!! If that's the case, play her at the game - your'e a Psych student as well!!)
