I got this idea about the karaoke and money because it really did happen to me with this girl I was after. Anyways, here goes:

Me: Can I ask you a question? I need a girl’s opinion about this. I only have a few minutes though.

Her: Yes

Me: A buddy of mine, Richard, started seeing this girl, Stephanie, and after two dates, she said she wanted to go karaoke and he was in charge of calling other people. So they went and Richard brought his closest buddies along. At the end, Stephanie said she’d pay by credit card and everyone put down cash and left. Richard counted the money to make sure it was all right. He said he counted twice actually. So everything was good.
But the very next day, Stephanie called Richard and said she’s missing money and not everyone paid. What should he do?

Her: Blah blah blah (She'll probably say Stephanie is a money-grubbing bitch)

Me: Well, Richard is hoping that it was just a mistake on Stephanie's part. And hopefully she'll figure out that she counted wrong.

Her: blah blah blah

Me: But here’s the catch. This is what Richard told me about his first date: [Move a little closer to the girl, face-to-face] Picture yourself at a restaurant and you’re with a guy that you’re on a date with. There are other customers seated next to you and behind you….talking loudly over their meal…babies screaming in the background, waiters walking around serving these customers….but you don’t notice any of it…it’s like you and that person are in a little box…in your own little world…you and him have this incredible connection....you feel so attracted to this person and feel that you totally click with him…..right there…and then you sense you’re totally drawn [touch her hand]….like you were meant to know them…..It’s incredibly powerful….and you’ll never forget it….

Her: blah blah blah

Decent NLP, but you jump from the Richard part to the NLP way too fast, there was no catch... it is incomplete, add more to the end, she'll say "So what happened next?" then what you gonna do?

BTW, check my opener out, you might like it, sounds similar with the NLP... I just posted it as About to go sarging tomorrow...

Field test and see how it works. Remember all an opener is just an excuse to talk, don't put to much importance on it. It's what you say after the opener that counts.

Also never say, "can I ask you something". AFC ask to ask questions. Alphas just ask it. Always better to say "let me ask you something" and just ask. I know it's small but the small things count to.
