Right for the short time that I have been sarging I have number closed twice. Both times I have text as I hate talking on the phone for some reason (I know I have to improve this asap).

This thread is for some info on which method is best to use along with its pros and cons.

For me Im going to have to say call now becuase I have figured out thats texting them gives them too much option to not reply etc. I have no promised myself to always call before text now.

Call, it's part of that primordial protector shit that women like so much. It shows confidence and masculinity.

And keep your conversations brief. A call need not last longer than a text would take to type out. Just arrange your next meet and leave it at that, should she want more to happen over the phone, she can make it happen by calling you back when she's ready.

Thats a good way to look at it. When a text normally flakes I havent followed up since and this has got me no where too. So im thinking leave it a day then follow up with a call, if nothing happens again then move on. Is that a good way to go about it?

People put too much stock into the mechanics of calling back (i.e. when and how to sound). If you're available and willing to do it the next day then do it. It's simple. Just tell her where and when and if she can't make it, say "ok, bye" and leave it at that. Try not to let her engage you on the phone. arrange a meeting place and then talk there. The phone is the biggest diffuser that you'll ever come across.

I can never understand why some women never answer SMS messages and on the other side of the spectrum women spend half thier lives texting each other and thier friends ??

me: just calling you quickly.
her: heya, how you doing? did you have a good night?
me: not bad, but was actually phoning you in order to meet up.
her: ok
me: <day> at <time> at <place>
her: i thought we'd talk first and get to know each other a bit
me: we're gonna talk when we see each other
her: i like to get to know someone first (shit test)
me: so if i whisper sweet nothings over the phone for half hour, you're gonna come in your favourite underwear and if i fail to woo you, you'll wear granny pants?
her: laugh, nah i'm not saying that laugh
me: cool. so <time> at <place>
her: ok
me: al-right see you then. i'm out.
her: bye.

Well that number I got was a fake.

Got to laugh seriously, had a feeling it would be anyway as my game wasnt that good during the pick up. Went out again tonight and sarged on, another number close. This one is a real number as its a friend of some girl my cousin is seeing.

An I like the convo the dude above posted with the shit test, I would have totally fell for that there. Thanks for that information.

Oh just another thing, was talking with a mate of mine who when ever he number closes he rings the girls phone there and then to ensure it isnt a fake.

This in my eyes is AFC as it shows that you actually care so much about the number and put to much emphasis on it. This could be DLV to the HB in my eyes. Not quite sure but would like your info on this guys.

Cause they've already established rapport and comfort, they will respond.

I don't see this as being a DLV. One way to go about it is saying "Put your number in my phone" and handing her your phone. Then, casually, press send/call, let it ring once and then hang up. Then just close your phone and say "There, now you have my number too". This could be a fun time to let her get to know you better. Sit down, tell her to put your name and an interesting fact about you (anchoring). Try to not make the fact a physical thing, make it more of an inside joke.

I agree though, calling is the right thing to do. Audio is a big portion of arousal for most women, so use your voice to your advantage. Plus, like Sabe007 and CeeStar said, it's all about confidence and if it's a fake or she doesn't want to see you, chalk it up to being a flake and move on.

You don't have to call just to arrange a day 2 then get off the phone. Try calling and NOT arranging the day 2.

As the experts say, call her, chat for a few minutes then say "I've got another call coming through, I'll call you back". Then don't call back, call a couple of days later and arrange the day 2 then.

It will throw her off because she'll be expecting you to call to arrange the day 2 as soon as possible...
