Hey guys, new to the forums. I have been progressively learning the game now for awhile. Figured I needed to start posting and discussing with the best.

So today at work, I ran into an hb8. My approach was great, at my building there are 4 doors to get into the main entrance, all next to each other. 4 different options of doors I would call it. So I am entering through one, and she is just about to exit from the door next to it. I say to her " well I was going to be a nice guy and hold the door for you, but you blew it" Her response: "oh wait, let's try it again, hold the door for me" Me: "Nope sorry, you already missed your chance"

I then said "Hey you look familiar" She agreed that I did as well. Threw in some filler, where she worked, blah blah. She told me the exact days she was working, and I closed it by saying oh maybe I will see you there. How lame is that! I know I could've number closed her.

So I have two questions: What would've been the right next move in trying to get her number?

Also, She works in my building, so I know I will see her again. Any thoughts on what to say next time I see her?

Seems to be going well for you, next time you meet number close and escalate maybe touching of the shoulder, hugging a bit maybe a playful shuve or not. Possibley try and set up a day 2 without the use of a phone.

Just keep cool relax and it all should fall into place.

What do you think a good next approach for her should be? Just something easy like "Hey, sorry I was rude when we first met, I forgot to ask you if you wanted to grab a drink after work sometime?" Like this or is it too straightforward?

i would say i love talking to u but i have to go but i would love to finish this conversation later with u. that is one i love to use

Sounds decent. Maybe say, "I thought you really enjoyed talking with me before. Which is why I was suprised you didn't ask me if I wanted to grab a drink after work sometime." Basically you switch the roles around. You could also try, "If you want to go get a drink with me, we could try to figure out why we look fimilar to eachother. But the offer is on the table for today only, I am a busy man you know."

Also I think it was better you didnt ask her for her number when you first met her. You got her thinking of you and now she will be on the look out for you, which is better in the long run.

I wouldn't go so far as to apologise for not hooking up, infact I wouldn't mention your first encounter, it shows that your not needy and hadn't really given it a second thought unitl now.

Just walk up say "hi" then close it with a number or a day 2. Just show confidence and she'll love it, you can still run indirect MM game afterwards just keep this meeting short and simple, trust me it'll blow her mind.
