ok... I used to know this girl way back in the day and I played tennis with her... I saw her recently at a neighborhood remembrance for her dead grandpa and she kept checking me out and was looking real cute... as soon as I had a free moment and unfortunately it was when my ride wanted to leave, I went and talked to her and busted her a little C&F and asked her if she still played tennis and she said no. Having no time and no pen and paper to write her phone number I said we should play some tennis, asked her if she was going to be around, and then said i'll get a hold of you.
Well a day's passed and I facebooked her cousin asking for the girl's s/n but her cousin didnt reply... I found the girl on facebook and i'm wondering if friending her shows too much desperation, or if it just shows good persistance? any ideas?

It's just good persistance and sure it shows interest but so did you approaching her. I'd totally add her on facebook if she was receptive to you.
