If you want to handle sophisticated situations you're either going to need to do one of two things:
1) Come up with a new techinque to handle them.
2) Handle them the way you feel like handling them and the way the situation logically should be handled.
When you befriend the AMOGs all you're doing is getting them to play nice; you're not changing the fact that they want the girl and often times you're not making yourself stand out above them as an alpha male. Essentially this is a blanket which doesn't really often make you more attractive in the eyes of a woman just because you can get chummy with the guys around her. All it does is prevent a potential problem without offering any benifit other than he doesn't stop you (in some cases).
Ask yourself this: are you out to make friends or are you out to attract and bring a hot girl in to your life? If you have to do something you don't feel like doing (befriend AMOGs with the ulterior motive of getting to the girl) you're not truly in control of the situation; you're manipulating circumstances to try to make it work but you're not dominating it.
Personally, when I'm out I don't want to make friends when I'm out to get a beautiful woman. If you do that's cool but for me making friends is just an excuse which distracts from my objective.
If the blocker is a girl or a beta guy they will not dare intervene if the woman is happy around me because they want to get with her so they will want to avoid upsetting her at ALL costs.
IF the AMOG is his boyfriend I have had this happen and it goes one of two ways:
1) The girl gets sweet with the, "ohh thanks you're so sweet" and he doesn't want to upset the girl or look like he is worried so he does nothing and I ultimatley win the girl over.
2) He tries to threaten me [I'm 5'5, 130 lbs. mind you so I don't have leverage often] and again I'm honest with him and play to his natural insecurities. If he engages me I will qualify him in a way in which he will fail to look alpha in the eyes of his woman.
"You're insecure I get that. How come you feel like you have to [control/screen] who what guys she talks to?"
"What are you afraid of? Do you not trust your girlfriend?"
"You afraid of losing her to someone better?"
"Do you need to threaten me to prove how tough you are to your girlfriend?"
"If you're girlfriend wanted me you would beat me up to defend her for cheating on you? I would just go out and find a new girlfriend"
A threatening AMOG is simply trying to make himself socially dominant which is easily overcome by playing up his insecurities and appealing to logic. For example the line, "If you're girlfriend wanted me you would beat me up to defend her for cheating on you? I would just go out and find a new girlfriend." conveys that the AMOG is needy, insecure and I am alpha and have options. I don't want to be chummy and nice; I want to be alpha dominant and get the woman.
When I use AMOG dominators I will typically see the woman start stroking her hair or playing with her hands. It is not uncommon for girls to keep looking at me or even slip me their phone numbers after I do this.
In any situation an AMOG threatening and dominant (verbally or physically) even through sophistication and wit until you make him look stupid in the eyes of his girlfriend.
Once he appears like an idiot or loser anyway he has no reason to threaten me and knows it will only make his situation worse [and appear more beta and needy] to come after me.
