Good Lord what an idiot I am with women.

Finally got this hot attractive woman totally into me and I think I blew it with a one line text message. Here are the details:

Meet this woman a few months ago in a regular social gathering. We talked, joked around and teased. Gave her a ride home last week and she practically raped me in the car. We went to my house and she spent the night. Had sex and started seeing each other every other day. We got into the habit of texting each other a couple of times a day. I was playing it really cool -- giving a little bit then pulling back and making her want more.

I was out of town on business for the past two days. She texted me yesterday morning with a "good morning!" and i texted back as usual.

Around noon yesterday I text her with this...

"I'll be home soon... I miss both my girls."

Both my girls being her and my dog. (and she knows that, it's not a question that I might have meant someone else.)

Well, that message must have sent the wrong message because she has been distant since. We've texted a couple of times since but I can sense she is choosing her words carefully although we did make a date for tonight. I texted her "good night sweety" last night and didn't get a return text. Nothing from her this morning either.

I sort of assumed since I was banging her every other day she was my girl but I guess I assumed wrong. I'm betting that I'm going to get the "we're moving too fast" speech tonight or worse yet, just a slow painful relationship death.

Anyway to deflect this? What should I do tonight?

No, not really. After my stupid text it was about an hour before she replied. And she is usually johnny on the spot. Then she made a reference to my dog missing me but not herself (she didn't say she didn't -- just didn't say anything about it)

Anyway, she did end up texting me this morning -- we'll see what happens tonight. I'm going to try to play it cool. Any advice?
