just lead her to a area of the room that's quite and aways from the crowd of people

I'd say step one would be thqat if you were talking to her in a big group, to first of all, cut off the rest of the group using body language, (pivot so your backs to the group and you are talking to her one on one) And start getting into a little more seriosu of a convo.
Then when she is a little more comfortable with you, then try to bring her away, say:

"lets find some seats and continue this"

"Come with me. I need fresh air, and im not done with you yet"

"Can you help me find my friend?"

"lets go somewhere quieter, i want to show u a trick"

etc.

Or if you've gotten enough IOI's just take her by the hand and lead her away.
