Alpha Muscle Complex If you aim to build more muscle mass, lift heavier weights using fewer reps. Focus on the area that you desire to increase mass in and do not divert from that region. Start by lifting light weights to warm up. It is a good idea to do approximately 15-20 reps with the lighter weight. The second set should be done with a weight with which you can complete only 6-8 repetitions. Add 5 more pounds, and then repeat the reps for your third set.
