Is emotionel connection the same as sexual tension?

If "No" then whats the difference?

An emotional connection can be had with members of the same sex. Its pretty much an establishment of "chemistry".

A sexual tension is raw biological sexual attraction. Thats why people can have a one night stand, wake up the next morning, regret it, and never want to speak to each other again. They had sexual tension, but no emotional connection.

Emotional connections are the foundation for relationships. Sexual tension is the foundation to get laid. Now, sexual tension is completely useless unless you capitalize off of it in the moment. An emotional connection is what allows you to get a girls number, call her a few days later, and she still be interested in hanging out. Girls have sexual tension with guys all the time who they never think about again.
