Hi, one area that I feel that seduction theories are weak on, and that affects my game massively, is what happens if you can't get women to return a look at you and express any (even remote) interest before you approach them.

Although I do make an effort to look vaguely stylish, and have done much in terms of losing weight and looking more physically attractive, the number of women that will look at me or return my look at them I can count one one hand in a year (and I go out a few times per week). Therefore, I am never sure to approach them or not.

I have heard different schools of thought on the subject. Some pickup gurus suggest forgetting about it and approaching them anyway. Others suggest that my physical looks and style are at fault (for example, the Player Supreme in one of his seduction podcasts suggests that one needs to get really ripped and muscular, and wear Armani suits to get woman interested).

It would be good to hear the view of others on the subject.

The great thing about the art of attraction is that it is based on psychology. You don't have to be brad pitt to get the girl, you just have to get her comfortable with you, and build attraction. If you are comfortable with yourself, she will be comfortable with you, thus making the pick-up easier.

Just remember that PUA's aren't just about getting women. Being a PUA is about being comfortable enough with yourself that you can approach a HB10 without fear of rejection.

Peacocking will get any girl to look at you. It doesn't have to be an armani suit or anything but something that looks interesting.

Let me tell you a real story

In fact, it's happening right now. I'm in colege. I have many black jackets and I wear them to go to class when it's cold. I've been doing that for years. Since I started studying PUA I began to change my looks to what I felt was the best expression of my personality. I was forgetting about the jacket. So, last saturday I went to the mall and bought this wonderful white jacket with 5 stripes on the chest area.. it's amazingly stylish but not over the top. It's just quiet but it drags every girl's eyes into it =)

Peacock is the key. You must stand out but don't overdo it.
