I thought it's one of those spam bots that are trying to find phone numbers. so I didn't respond.

The next day, the same number texts me: Bart?

I figured no, it's a real person.

I asked "who is this?" she says "this is Jessica. You gave me your number last week on xyz blvd and told me to call you"

strange thing: i WAS on xyz blvd last week, my name IS bart, but i have never met this person. i tried to explain this to her, but she thinks i am playing games and i am the guy she met last week. she says the guy was middle eastern looking, i AM middle eastern looking.

When I was selling cars, occasionally I'd get people calling asking if we had a particular car and that car was already sold. However, I would lie to them, knowing they would be pissed off, and tell them the car was still there with hopes that I could diffuse the situation and sell them something else. It was better than sitting there with my thumb up my ass and that's how you make deals.

If I had some girl that I didn't remember ever talking to (no matter how sure I was I'd never met her) that randomly texts my phone saying she's into me.... I'd probably Atleast see if I was interested and play along. If you meet up with in person and she realizes she has no idea who you are, deal with it then.
