Will asking for girls number directly work?

I watched a 4/10 guy get rejected 95 times. He straight up asks 100 girls for their numbers and only 5 said yes.
If I am a 7/10, dress nice and start a proper conversation, what do you think my success rate would be like

Th problem is that the number is not the goal. Sex is the goal. If you go just for a number and don't engage in any seduction, you will get zero lays.

Work on the basics. Do the newbie challenge, read up an escalation ladder, etc. Better than this.

First of all I would probably not give my number out to anyone unless I know what they want to do with it or why they asked for it. That's why this dude got rejected. He didn't express intent or did anything besides ask for a number. Don't misinterpret the videos to rationalize your beliefs.

What the fuck do you expect to happen when you straight up walk to a girl and ask for her number out of the blue?

That's like walking up, immediately insulting her and asking for her number. Then when you see a "10/10" guy get 1 number in 100 attempts you're gonna ask what hopes does an average guy have? I don't know, how about don't be an idiot?
