What to do if a girl doesn't text me back like she promised?

New to MPUA Forum

So today, there was this girl I approached on campus while we were both walking in the same direction to separate buildings. I used my opener, I made her laugh a lot, we had a good conversation, and she gave me her number.

She texted me later today saying: "I'll text you after my meeting :)"
I texted back saying: "Looking forward to it :)"

So it is tonight and she hasn't texted me back at all.

What should I do? What is my next step and why? I appreciate all the guidance and help I can get.
