hey guys i was just wondering when introducing myself, do i say my name is matt or do i go with the whole jacks thing. like i dunno how ppl would react to going up and saying a nickname like "pumper" or something wierd like that.
just wondering if u guys use your names or just a nickname youve made up?

I asked the very same question when I first joined the community and no one ever answered me, so you're in luck.

When I first joined a different forum, my name was Cosmic, from a nickname I had in college, but that didn't really work for me, so I used a different nick name I used to use. When I went by Cosmic it was an issue, because I would have to explain my name every time, but I wasn't sure if I should be using my real name or not.

If you've got a name that you can use, like Rye, Kino, Zig, Tripp, Zip, J, or some other nickname or real name sounding thing, then use that. If your pseudonym is something like Psylight, Krylon, Striker, Style, Mystery, then you use your real name, or some other name that you give women that works as a real name/nickname.

sweet man, since reading the game, as most ppl have ive wondered if pua actually go out and say hey my names mystery. allways seemed alittle odd. i think jacks will work for me as my last name is jackson so meh.

I've seen a couple of sarging videos of Mystery, he usually says something like, "My name is Eric, but my friends call my Mystery, that's my stage name."

I guess it's easier for him to do that because people will naturally ask about have a stage name and it's a good conversation starter.

I never understood the concept of PUA names except for added anonymity on these discussion boards. And no, I don't use my PUAF handle in real life, that would just be weird.

People do it in all walks of life...When I used to go on clubbing forums a lot, the people would always use their forum names when they people in clubs. You would have a group of friends that all knew each other by their pseudonyms.

yer i agree with you guys but i was thinking starting off, which is me, it seems to be a little easier to pull out a random name from yourself and then act the night away. i thought it was used to give u the confidence that you are using a different persona and if u are unsuccesful u can be like hmm i gotta change this persona.

So then have that feeling of being a different persona when you go into the club, but don't become a completely different person, otherwise she's gonna be confused when you get her outside the club. Keep it in your mind that you are a PUA and that you are The Man and that you are out to have FUN, but you don't need to give her a fake name to get that point across to her, you show her that with your actions.
