Hey guys just have a quick question on how i should handle this. I work with a few guys at work and in our lil team theirs this girl that seems to say hello every now and again but we don't really talk all that much but she seems to talk to the other guys a fair bit and gets along with them. So today she pokes me on fb and i'm not quite sure on how to approach her or just joke with her about it because its kinda a surprise obviously. I'm kinda thinking that she might be interested in me because i'm the only one who doesn't really hit on her so she might be trying to get my attention?

I don't really want to just poke her back i was almost just going to poke her next time i see her in person and just say something stupid like poked you back but i'm not sure how i should handle it because she seems to avoid working with me and as i said she only will say hello/cya if we walk past each other.

Perhaps she talks to and gets along with the other guys because she is not interested in them and she can therefore be comfortable. Perhaps she is interested in you and she is shy to talk to you. Online talking and poking is easier than approaching you! Maybe she's waiting for you to talk to her more?

Obviously she's interested or she wouldn't have poked you in the first place. But she also realizes showing that at work can be potentially humiliating and possibly damaging to your careers.

Pay attention to her actions, do you catch her glancing your way? Does her head always turns to watch you walk by? Does she make brief eye contact?

She reached out. But wants to keep it on the DL.

Tbh I won't even mention the poke or joke about it.

It's a poke. Facebook suggests poke this person and people click it. I get a ton of girls inviting me to play games on fb.. I know they aren't seriously reaching out or does it mean anything.

At the end of the day I wouldn't take a poke to mean anything. If I were interested in the girl I'd just talk to her.. Online or in person. If you like the chick that's what matters. Not whether she poked you to suck your dick. It's like in person at the bar, a chick asking me where is the bathroom doesn't mean anything. Sure it could be an ioi or it could mean she needs to pee. Regardless all that matters is if I'm interested I act on it. If you were interested in this chick I don't know why you'd need a silly poke for permission.
