The guy that he's describing sounds exactly like my best friend. Women approach him all of the time, his mannerisms and smirk on his face, cocky with an I'm better than you attitude, and he has no doubt that he can take a woman home. Also exactly the same, is that he can't approach because he never knows what to say.

I did when I first started and still kind of do. I get girls IOI'ing me like shit and even approaching me in clubs a lot of the time. I had already built my escalation skills because I'd had numerous girlfriends and fucked a good number of girls before I even discovered the community. So when I first started I was like "fuck this cold approach shit, it's stupid" and it felt like it was lowering my value. (and if you do it wrong, it does).

However, I've learnt to cold approach from a place of value now and as you'll see from my post "cold approach vs warm approach" I have come up with a way to gauge where I am on the scale before I make my moves to approach a girl. It's definitely helped a lot and increases my options now because I've also developed a pick up skillset and lifestyle aswell as my mindset.

In terms of your initial question OP, I really don't fully know how you could understand that level of pick up. I've tried to teach other guys my style of game numerous times and they just don't seem to 'get it'. It's because natural game is deeper than words, it is an intuitive understanding of girls and seducing them. It is most things that guys in the pick up community try to describe and talk about, all happening in the moment. That is the best way I can describe it. You just have 'it' and girls want 'it'.

There are so many subtle things going on when I'm 'on' that even I can't describe what I'm doing because I'm operating intuitively and I just know what to do. I walk into a venue and the universe seems to alter itself to fit what I want. Girls seem to pick up on this vibe too and it creates a snowball effect where every girl seems to want a piece of you.

You probably won't believe me, but I've had it where I was making out with one girl at a party one time, and I could just sense that this other girl across the room was wanting a piece of me. Once the other girl had gone home, the one who I sensed was attracted to me came over and made out with me within minutes and I went home with her that night.

Actually nah that's kinda vague... But I'd recommend not to go down that road because these daily "insights" they have and 10 articles a day is gonna more often than not confuse you. As n2 said this guy prob doesn't exist... There's always some mythological player they talk about. Be the best that YOU can be instead of trying to become some example that's most likely fictional.

I'm not about pushing product (drugs, PUA or other), BUT that said there's a really good workshop you can download by some guy named Zack Browman called High Status Humour. He does a great job of breaking down different characters where you kinda just step into the roll of and have fun.

I use humour quite a bit whilst flirting, its been my go-to for, well, ever. I feel comfortable with it and I can in fact use it to build a fair amount of tension to however level I see fit. I don't care for the dichotomies such as "cock funny guy" because then you become a one-trick pony and you never really learn how to calibrate with others.

Always use humour for yourself. I'm not being funny to check-in with her for a pat on the head "OMG he's so funny!", I do it because I love to laugh, its not even really an approach, at all the way I use it - I'm not performing. For me, it's 'natural'.

As an example last week a friend of mine suggested I contact his cute roommate (who's only seen photos of me), so instead of "Hey so-and-so it's N2, your friend said you're a cool chick so I thought I'd say "hello":)" which is pretty cringe worthy. She couldn't stop laughing my friend said, and she said it was the strangest text convo she'd ever received (I continued on quite a bit it got beyond ridiculous but she was fully engaged the entire time).

Point is to be bold, but to be yourself. And maybe humour works for you, maybe not. I'd checkout high status humour see how it works as it gives you an exceedingly simple formula to help you get in-touch with your inner comedian at the flip of a switch.

Role play to with a girl, even upon first meeting her - maybe this supposed guy who stood there like a douche played the role very well (maybe he really was a douche who knows) and that drew intrigue. You can definitely flirt and 'escalate' quickly through role play as well, or even get them to chase such as pretending you're the prize especially if you're good at knowing what it's like to be them in everyday life getting approached by douches, chodes, and clingers. Point is you can role play and illicit a response often from people without even engaging with them. But really why wait and stand like a wallflower with the hopes someone will open you, that's weak sauce in my opinion, even if the rare girl is coming up to you - I want to have fun, and I'm not going to sit there and wait for someone to bring the party to me. Life's short, make things happen for you, and in the process bring a bit of joy to a person's otherwise mundane life.
