hey,

I'm having fairly good luck with online dating however i struggle to get girls to commit to a meet up. I get the same excuse of "you need to know the person first" any tips on breaking down this wall?

As long as the conversation is going well, I usually say something along the lines of "I think it would be fun to meet up soon for some drinks (so we can run away if we get bored of each other). What about Monday or Tuesday?"

This way you automatically assume she wants to meet up, and only give her options on the day. Usually works for me.

Just don't wait too long before initiating. You don't have to know everything about each other beforehand and it keeps a bit of a mystery if you don't.

No girl is going to feel comfortable meeting up with you if you have yet to build a solid emotional connection with them. Not only does this make them feel more comfortable, but it allows you to have a smoother date because the initial "akawardness" has already been taken care of it.

Pick up the phone and call them or ask them if they have facetime/SPAM/google hangouts.

And from my experience and from many people I know, once you get a girl on a solid video chat/phone conversation you won't have to get them "out", because they will be "comfortable" enough to come right over to your house without a date. If not after the first solid call, definitely after the second or third. My phone call/my video chat is my first date. The second call(if necessary) is the second date.

But if you do decide to take them out, give this a read: closing-and-day/topic189168.html
