She said yes. And I got her number and peaced.
Since then (about a week ago now) I've called twice (first four days after, then another 2 days later).
She didn't pick up either time and I didn't leave any messages, so she doesn't know its me.
I'm kind of getting the idea she doesn't pick up numbers she doesn't know.
I have good rapport going with her, she remembers my name when I come in and sort of knows me as the "traveler check guy".
So what do I do now?
I was thinking of leaving a short txt or voice message saying something like
"hey it's tom, the traveler check guy (she'll know who I am), give me a call if you get the chance"
This girl seems really cool and down to earth, attractive in a sort of undiscovered way. I'd like to take her out, casually at first, but I don't want to come off as too interested or desperate.
Any advice?
Oh boy, this is a tough one. I think you did the right things with your Alpha "It's a yes or no answer". In fact I am fairly certain that's what got her to say yes in the first place. You lead and she followed. So kudos there.
So am I right in saying it's been about a week since you called? I have two suggestions, I am not sure which one is the right one or if either one is right. Either call her and say that you've called twice before but she has not answered. Tell her that normally you would not bother a third time but she was far too interesting a person to give up on that easily. Alternatively you could do this face to face and put pressure back on her. If anything you'll put her back in her place if she was to start flaking in front of you. Just ask her why did you say yes and give me your number if you were not interested? Remember it was a yes or no answer and you said yes. Do you always waste time like this? Ok ... maybe not the last part but you get the picture.
