I had been talking to this 9/10 foreign chick I met on the internet for a couple of days. We've never met in person. Well she texted me good morning one day, which I didn't respond to because my phone was dead. 12 hours after she sent that, she texted "i don't think we should talk anymore."

The logical me told her sorry my phone had died and why didn't she want to talk anymore? Well, she saw both texts (the messaging app I use shows this), but didn't reply.

Would the correct response here be to agree and amplify, like it normally is for shit tests? Maybe something like "you're right, I was thinking the same thing, I'm not sure you're a good fit for me." Problem was, I couldn't figure out if this was a shit test or her just dropping me.

You haven't met her in person. You have no idea if she really is who she says she is.

You should feel stupid for even making a post asking about this girl... I feel stupid for even responding to it.

Why did you give her attention for bad behavior?

You just validated her by rewarding her for deciding to not speak with you anymore. Attention is a reward. Had you ignored her, she would of sent something else.
