So I have this amazing girl in my university, I see her around a lot and we had a first class together again so I kinda caught her looking at me a bit and smiling, so when we left the class I smiled at her for a sec and she kept on looking at me.

My question is - we have a lot of mutual friends from school on facebook, and I don't see her everyday at school unfortunately even though its a really small school (500 undergrads).

How can I hit on her on facebook out of the blue?... Adding her as a friend or sending a message right away just seems a bit creepy to me, no?

I don't understand why you would do this instead of walking up to her and saying hello.

What the fuck you need to hit her up on facebook for if you have class with her? If your too nervous to talk to her in person now how would messaging her on fb change that. Just speak to her the next time you see her either before or after class. Better yet if the seats aren't assigned just sit next to her.

Back in high school, one of my favorite openers would be to just draw a tick tact toe board on a piece of paper and slip it to the girl I think is cute. They ALWAYS play. AI'd then write little "text msg" like notes on the paper with each move. She would follow and by the end I would be writing that if I win I get the number.

Approaching would be the best way, but I could understand you being apprehensive about that within a school of 500 people. Talk gets around and if you're not emotionally strong enough to handle that I get it. Although I would suggest that the best way to learn to swim is to throw yourself into the water and learn, because you know what happens if you don't. Thats motivation.
