Relative Newbie here, went out to the bar last night with a buddy to talk about a business idea & went to a bar that we visit on the regular. I know a lot of ppl that go there so as usual I ran into some other ppl I knew & hung out with them a bit. Proceeded to talk business at the pool table & play, had a girl approach when her be stepped out for a smoke (had no interest in her type) then played against two chicks that flirted with us a bit but never got the vibe they were interested.
Here's the situation I have no idea how to handle, this cute bartender comes up & challenges us to a game of pool for a shot. Turns out she is fucking awesome & completely hustled us on the game. So we all had a shot together & talked for 15 minutes or so & turns out we know the same ppl & come from the same town but cuz she was working I didn't get a window to close on a number or date & we had to leave while she was talking to the other girls. How do I close on this girl the next time I'm there when she's working?
I know she's a hired gun & is working for tips but it seemed like the game of pool bet was a strong IOI but since she was working it was difficult to pick up any other IOI's. My buddy even commented later on how she zoned him out & was completely focused on me so do I play it cool or pull the trigger & get the number the next time we run into each other?

Always assume the IOI, hired guns are way tougher. But remember they are still women.

Be different. I would use your pool game as a header.

And a reverse bait and switch.
