Broke up with me last week, didn't speak to her at all since.

Okay so while I was at my work studying (on my day off) I saw her ex boyfriend whom I never met before. I recognized him and asked him if his name was Shawn, he said yes awkwardly and I proceeded to ask him if he dated my ex girl. He said "yes I did, a little while ago". I asked him general questions about what had happened and who broke up with who. He didn't go into much detail as it seemed he was truly over it. We shook hands and agreed he wouldn't go run back and tell her about our conversation...

24 hours goes by

Minding my own business with a plate of chicken wings browsing this site when BOOM. Text comes in from her. It read "Hey!, so apparently you n shawn talked last night?". Lmao there goes bro-code even from a random. I decided not to answer at all. I see it as a means to see if I would answer her or initiate contact back. I see it as Shawn got "juicy" information and used it to get into contact with her (potentially to ignite attraction) and then she used it to get into contact with me (potentially cus she misses my ass).

Was not replying a good decision? Want this girl to cringe with regret about dumping me.

Your bad decision was talking to him about her. Not responding to her doesn't mean anything now because he told her everything you said and it means that you are still thinking about her.

Hahah fuck. I suppose now she knows shes on my mind. I really feel like she left me because of fear that I was cheating on her (many reasons for thinking this). Perhaps me "thinking about her" isn't a bad thing to her? Any way who gives a fuck. I didnt respond and its back to no contact. Fuck her. At least I didnt go total beta and answer her text.

I'm going to give you some advice that you will not listen to because we are conditioned not to believe this. Don't commit to a woman until you are ready to make her the only one. Most of the time you can have a girl commit to you without being her boyfriend officially. It made life significantly easier for me when it came to women. It allows me to be honest and I don't waste my time manipulating any situation. I can go out with other women and women fight that much harder to make me to want only them. The only issue that you may have is that she'll try to give you a guilt trip when she finds about other women.
