Hickeys, trashy or preselection switch?

The other nite in a drunken haze I let a girl mess with my neck wile fooling around. Inevitably this resulted in several hickeys. I can't help but feel a bit trashy walking around with them showing. My question is, is it trashy for them to show as a sign of preselection or cover because its a bit unsightly?

Depends on the local culture. Here, it would be seen as trashy.

Its all in your style man. If you're that kind of dude then you can wear it with pride. I personally think its distasteful. Its almost a stamp for men who don't get laid often to let the world know they finally got some. Of course mistakes happen so thats not true in all cases; but I'm a flawed and judgmental so thats how I see it. I wouldn't make too strong of an effort to cover it though; I'd just live with my mistake and make sure that I'm more careful next time.
